Investors & Funds

You always have projects. You never have time to evaluate them all.

A first cut on every site in the pipeline: can it connect, at what capacity, at what reinforcement cost, and when. Up to two hours each, any country, with the buildup behind every number.

450k

Connection requests across Europe in 2024, up 133% on 2021

Europe’s connection queues grew faster than anyone can assess them. Most of what is in them will never be built.

What you can do with Noda

Five things you can do before it reaches the committee

  1. 01

Build the site from the teaser.

A coordinate, the technology and the export the seller is claiming. That is enough for a screening to begin, in any country, before the non-binding offer.

  2. 02

Ask what the committee will challenge.

Grid, yield, finance, permits, routing, curtailment. Pick from the catalogue or type the question in your own words, and the report answers those first.

  3. 03

Point it at the data room you were sent.

Operator letters, drawings, parcel boundaries, financial models, scanned surveys. Noda extracts them and treats them as your proprietary evidence.

  4. 04

Screen the pipeline, not the shortlist.

Every site gets the same first cut, so the diligence budget goes to the ones that survive it rather than the ones you already liked.

  5. 05

Take a verdict that survives the committee.

The verdict with its conditions, and a class on every figure: source-backed, operator-confirmed, modelled or missing. Nothing invented to fill a gap.

With and without Noda

The grid decides which projects survive, and it answers last

Guarantees, application fees and auction tranches are committed before the operator computes anything. Spain takes 40 EUR per kilowatt before an access request is even processed — two million euros on a 50 MW site.

The platform

From a boundary you draw to a verdict you can defend

  • Put any site in the pipeline on the map.

A point in any country, the technology, and the export the seller is claiming. That is enough for a run, before the non-binding offer.

The Noda map console with a site drawn over farmland in Germany, its edges measured in metres, and the layer panel open
  • Pin the questions the committee will ask.

Grid, yield, finance, permits, routing, curtailment. Rank the eight that decide this investment, or type the question in your own words.

The Noda console asking what will be built inside the drawn area, with solar, wind, storage and hybrid options
  • Hand over the seller's data room whole.

Operator letters, drawings, parcel boundaries, financial models, scans. Extracted, joined to the site, and private to your account — nothing reaches another fund.

The Noda console asking what else is known about the project, with a drop area that takes any format up to 50 MB per file
  • Let a specialist team do the first cut.

One agent per aspect, one shared ledger. They read the operator's own documents and you watch the ledger fill in, one figure at a time.

    Project Area — the team

  • Take a first cut upstairs, not a black box.

The verdict with its conditions, the connection point, capacity under N-1, reinforcement cost and timing. Every figure says whether it is source-backed, operator-confirmed, modelled or missing.

A Noda decision report: keep the site, do not commit 21 MW yet, with the confidence, viability and firm screen figures beside it

See it on a project whose outcome you know.

Pick one where part of the answer is already in, agree the criteria before we start, and judge the report on those.

The three questions we hear on the first fund call

That is true. It is why the first runs we do with a fund are benchmarks against projects they have already completed, with real outcomes known, and why we will publish the first comparison whichever way it goes.

No. You can see the buildup: which documents were read, which numbers were computed, which were modelled, and what would change the verdict.

Yes. Pick projects where you already know part of the outcome, agree the evaluation criteria before we start, and judge it on those.
