Refund Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
1. The short version
If a screening does not produce a report, or a report is not delivered to you, the credit comes back. If a screening produced a report and it was delivered to you, the credit is spent, because the work was done and the result reached you.
One exception. If a delivered report does not relate to the site you defined, or does not address the questions you put to it, tell us within 14 days and we will re-run the screening at no charge or return the credit, at your choice. That is a commitment about the scope of the work, not about its accuracy.
This policy applies to business customers. Noda is not offered to consumers, and consumer withdrawal rights do not apply.
2. When a credit is returned
The credit is returned to your account, automatically, where:
- the screening run fails or is abandoned by the system before a report exists;
- a report is produced but a failure on our side means it never reaches you;
- you save a site and abandon it before the screening starts, in which case the held credit is released.
You do not need to open a support request for this. If you believe a credit was consumed without a report, write to [email protected] and we will check the run record and correct it.
3. When a credit is not returned
Subject to the 14-day exception in Section 1 — a report that does not address what you asked is not a completed screening of your question — a completed screening consumes its credit, including where the conclusion is negative or is that the available evidence does not support one. A report that tells you a site does not work, or that the data needed to decide is not published, is a delivered result. It is frequently the most valuable one, and it costs the same to produce.
Re-running a site with different inputs, questions or documents is a new screening and draws a new credit.
4. Money refunds
Fees paid for credits are refundable in money where:
- you terminate because we were in material breach and did not remedy it, in which case we refund the fees for credits you hold and have not drawn;
- we withdraw a beta feature and do not restore equivalent functionality, in which case Section 6 of the Terms and Conditions applies;
- you were charged in duplicate or in error, in which case we refund the incorrect charge in full;
- a credit cannot be returned to your account because the account has closed, in which case we refund the amount attributable to it;
- the Service is unavailable for more than seven consecutive days for reasons attributable to us, in which case we make a pro-rata adjustment to the fees for the affected period.
Beyond that, fees for a period already served are not refunded on cancellation, and unused credits at the end of a term are handled as your order form provides.
5. How to cancel
Write to [email protected] before the end of your current term, observing the notice period in your order form. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; access continues until then, and you may export your reports for 30 days afterwards.
6. Before you raise a chargeback
Tell us first. A chargeback raised without contacting us costs both of us time and a fee, and every case we have seen would have been resolved faster by email. We will look at the run record with you, and where we are wrong we will correct it without argument.
